Silpa is a Moonbeam Gold Medal–winning children's author based in Oregon, writing funny, adventurous stories that help young readers feel brave, curious, and seen outdoors.

Her interactive author visits are designed for grades K–3 and connect to themes of nature, curiosity, facing fears, and representation.

What a Visit Includes

• Live reading of A Monster on My Trail
• Interactive Q&A with students
• Writing/drawing activity — students create their own "monster" they might find on a trail
• Author signing for pre-ordered books

Visit Details

• Length: 45–60 minutes per session
• Group size: One or two classrooms per session
• Format: In-person (Portland metro area) or virtual
• Book orders: Signed copies available for pre-order at a school discount
